Finally!
This result came a great relief to any West Ham fan. The Hammers actually won a game and against a good side, which Southampton certainly are.
After draws in the previous five games with West Brom, Manchester United, Stoke, Swansea, and Aston Villa, it was nice to get a different result!
It came very unexpectedly as West Ham weren’t backed with the biggest chance to win with the current squad (or lack of) and Southampton came to East London on the back of a 4-0 win against Arsenal.
