West Ham Co-chairman David Gold has taken to social media to deliver some good news to all Hammers fans ahead of the trip to face Aston Villa on Boxing Day.
The chairman tweeted:
If all goes well Carroll, Valencia and Lanzini will all be available for Villa. Sakho, Reid Moses and Payet are all progressing well. dg — @davidgold
Andy Carroll joined a large list of recent West Ham absentees when he missed the 0-0 draw with Swansea, but it looks like his issue was only a minor one.
Enner Valencia was injured in the 1-1 draw with Everton in December, and has made two substitute appearances in recent weeks, but Gold clarified his statement about the Ecuadorian, saying he should be able to play 90 minutes against Villa.
Yes I know Valencia played on Sunday but he only play for 30 mins next week he could play the hole game. dg https://t.co/4wlaT0UMA9

As for Lanzini, he’s been out with a hamstring injury which he picked up in training prior to the draw with Man United, and the Hammers will be keen to get him back as he has been in fine form so far this season.
The trio of Winston Victor Moses, Winston Reid and Dmitri Payet are all set to return to action in the New Year as they recover from their injuries.
