West Ham winger linked with January exit

West Ham winger Michail Antonio is being chased by Derby County, according to John Cross of The Mirror.

The 25-year-old signed for the Hammers for £7million in the summer but has played for just 30 minutes as Slaven Bilic has preferred other players in the wide areas.

Derby wanted to sign Antonio in the summer but Nottingham Forest did not want to sell him to their rivals, fearing a fan backlash.

However, with Antonio seemingly out of favour at Upton Park, The Rams are optimistic of getting their man for around £5million.

The move to the Premier League hasn’t worked out for the ex-Sheffield Wednesday and Reading man, so he too might like the opportunity to drop down into the Championship and try to help Paul Clement’s men gain promotion.

Derby currently sit in fifth place, just four points behind league-leading Hull City and had been on a great unbeaten run up until their 1-0 loss to Forest at the weekend.
