Hammers on international duty: One Minute Round-Up

A few West Ham players recently represented the Hammers whilst on international duty. Find out how they all did right here.

African duo Diafra Sakho and Cheikhou Kouyate both played for Senegal in their 1-0 friendly loss to Algeria. Senegal bossed the game with more possession, more shots on target and more off target, as well as more corners. However they were unlucky with the outcome. Both Sakho and Kouyate played 90 minutes with Kouyate unfortunately getting booked.

Darren Randolph played for the Republic of Ireland in two games. In the first game, Ireland historically beat Germany 1-0 with Randolph surprisingly getting an assist. A long punt forward saw Shane Long bearing down on goal. Ireland needed a win in their next game against Poland to qualify. However they could not get the win that they needed as they lost 2-1 with the unstoppable force of Robert Lewandowski striking again.

Josh Cullen also played for the Ireland U21s, however they lost their 100% record losing to Italy 1-0.
