West Ham United are reportedly open to selling Aaron Wan-Bissaka this summer, with the club set to ask for £25 million.
The Athletic reports that the Championship side are prepared to listen to offers for the 28-year-old right-back, although no enquiries have arrived at this stage.
Wan-Bissaka’s situation has moved quickly since his World Cup campaign with DR Congo ended. Read West Ham has already covered how Arsenal were credited with interest in Wan-Bissaka, while Fenerbahce have also been linked with a move.
West Ham Need A Proper Offer
A £25m valuation gives West Ham a clear starting point rather than leaving one of their senior defenders exposed to opportunistic bids.
Wan-Bissaka remains one of the squad’s strongest one-v-one defenders, and his profile could still be valuable across a long Championship season. Nuno Espirito Santo needs players with Premier League experience, but West Ham also have to judge which sales can help reshape the squad.
The lack of enquiries is important. Interest around Wan-Bissaka has not yet turned into a formal move, so West Ham are not under immediate pressure to act.
If a club reaches the asking price, the conversation changes. Until then, this looks more like West Ham setting the market early than pushing a key defender out at any cost.
