West Ham are reportedly keen on Brighton and Hove Albion winger Amario Cozier-Duberry as Nuno Espirito Santo looks to refresh his squad for life in the Championship.
The 21-year-old is due back at Brighton for pre-season after a productive loan spell with Bolton Wanderers, where he helped the club win promotion from League One through the play-offs.
Cozier-Duberry Fits A Clear West Ham Need
The update, attributed to The Athletic and carried by The72, says West Ham admire the former Arsenal academy player as they search for added width and attacking depth. Cozier-Duberry is left-footed, usually operates from the right and offers the kind of direct running the Hammers need after relegation.
Brighton have reportedly offered him a new deal, with his current contract running until 2028, so this is not a straightforward free-hit opportunity. But the football logic is clear: Cozier-Duberry has to decide whether his fastest route to senior minutes is at the Amex or elsewhere.
According to a fresh update from The72, he produced 10 goals and 13 assists across 41 appearances for Bolton last season. That makes him a credible promotion-market target rather than a speculative academy punt.
For West Ham, the question is whether they can turn interest into a deal before rival clubs make the winger’s pathway at Brighton even harder to read.
