Now, a fresh report from Gazzetta dello Sport has claimed that the Irons remain keen on Bamba.
Capped 19-times by France at the Under 21 level, the exciting forward is expected to seek pastures new at the end of the current campaign.
So far this season Bamba has provided three assists in 25 appearances across all competitions – earning a 7.05 average Sofascore rating despite not scoring.

Valued at £19.8million and under contract until 2023 (Transfermarkt), the report claims that the Irons will offer €20million (£16.5 million) for the ace in the summer.
Predominantly a left-winger, Bamba possesses a range of impressive attributes that would endear David Moyes to the Frenchman.
Perhaps arriving as possible competition for Said Benrahma, Nikola Vlasic and Pablo Fornals, this would certainly be a capture with ramifications beyond a simple signing.
For those West Ham supporters keen to take a closer look, Lille will take on Chelsea in the UEFA Champions League tonight (February 22).
