West Ham will reportedly make a late ‘push’ to sign Manchester United attacking midfielder Jesse Lingard.
The 29-year-old was superb whilst on loan in East London last season and had seemingly reignited a stalling career.
However, having chosen to return to Old Trafford and fight for a permanent role in the first-team, Lingard is once again at a crossroads.
According to a report from 90min, as cited by Sky Sports News on Twitter, the Irons will reignite their interest in the closing hours of the window.
Newcastle and West Ham are both making a Deadline Day push to sign Jesse Lingard on loan.

The report claims that West Ham have ‘renewed their interest’ in the 32-cap ace and have made a deadline day ‘loan enquiry’ to make the deal happen.
This season Lingard has scored twice and provided one assist in 14 appearances across all competitions.
READ WEST HAM VERDICT
Valued at £18million and out of contract at the end of the season (Transfermarkt), any temporary departure for the Englishman would likely be a final act as a Manchester United player.
Already a multiple trophy winner, Lingard must surely be considering a switch in order to secure a place in Gareth Southgate’s squad for the World Cup later this year.
Whilst the signing worked with superb success last term, having the likes of Said Benrahma, Nikola Vlasic and Said Benrahma already in situ makes a move for the ace all the more unlikely.
Meanwhile, a report from The Times has claimed that the Hammers could make a surprise attempt to sign experienced Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey.
