West Ham youngster Harrison Ashby is reportedly in contention to start against Dinamo Zagreb in the UEFA Europa League this week.
The Hammers welcome the Croatian top-flight side to the London Stadium on Thursday (December 9) having already wrapped up Group H.
Irons’ boss David Moyes would appear to be taking advantage of the luxury by including numerous youngsters in the squad.
According to reliable insiders Claret and Hugh, Ashby could be handed an opportunity from the outset at right-back.
This season the Scottish 20-year-old has been instrumental for the Under 23s and will no doubt be relishing the opportunity to impress Moyes.

Given the recent injury hardship suffered by Angelo Ogbonna and Kurt Zouma, Moyes would be wise to guard against further issues in what is essentially a dead rubber.
Furthermore, such games bring about golden opportunities for youngsters to seize the moment and the £270,000 valued Ashby will be desperate to suitably impress.
Despite an apparent lack of form, talismanic frontman Michail Antonio is one player who should be nowhere near the London Stadium on Thursday as the 31-year-old remains the only recognised striker available to Moyes.
