Manchester United are now reportedly ‘open’ to selling recent West Ham loan star Jesse Lingard this summer.
The Hammers were believed to be keen to sign the 28-year-old on a permanent basis following a stunning spell in east London during the second half of the Premier League season.
Previously the attacking midfielder was set to become part of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s plans at Old Trafford.
However, according to a report from the Manchester Evening News, as cited by West Ham Now on Twitter, a sale could once again be on the cards.

The report claims that the 29-cap England man now has a seat ‘reserved in the departure lounge’ in Manchester as the season gets underway.
Lingard scored nine and assisted another five goals in 16 league outings for the Irons last term and David Moyes admitted there was a desire to make the move permanent.

As games begin to come and star players return to the fold, there was always the possibility this could be the case before the end of the transfer window.
Despite playing a leading role during pre-season, as Manchester United welcome back the likes of Paul Pogba, Bruno Fernandes and Donny van de Beek, Lingard’s continued role was always likely to come under scrutiny.
Albeit not the recognised striker perhaps required at the London Stadium, the English attacking midfielder proved his worth twice over and would certainly be deserving of a move to West Ham.
