West Ham defender Vladimir Coufal has been nothing short of a revelation on the pitch since arriving in east London – putting the £5m price tag into insignificance.
Following what could prove to be a damaging loss on Saturday at the hands of Newcastle United, the Czech Republic right-back has been unwinding in the sunshine with a kickabout with his young son.
Unlike his father, who hasn’t scored for the club since his arrival, junior Coufal finds the back of the net with a left-footed strike before heading for the camera and showcasing in-form Jesse Lingard’s famous celebration.

Having struck up a fruitful partnership with Slavia Prague when signing Tomas Soucek, the Irons heading back to the Fortuna Liga club to sign Coufal before the start of this season.
The decision has proven to be a wise one as the 28-year-old boasts an impressive 7.02 average Sofascore rating in 28 Premier League outings.

Who doesn’t want to be Lingard these days?
Perhaps should Coufal manage to bag his first goal before the season is out, his son can learn whatever celebration he comes up with, as well as boosting the Irons’ European qualification chances.
