West Ham striker Sebastien Haller is edging towards an east London departure with Ajax keen on signing the enigmatic centre-forward.
Reports on Wednesday night claimed that the Dutch giants are close to landing the 26-year-old in a £22m deal, with many Irons fans taking to Twitter to give their thoughts on the developments.
Haller has never truly settled into life at the London Stadium and despite glimpses of his ability, most notably his recent stunning overhead kick winner against Crystal Palace, the Ivorian couldn’t recapture the form which attracted West Ham to him in the first place.
With Robert Snodgrass also heading towards the exit this month, David Moyes could soon find himself with a depleted squad, although the manager may have some replacements already lined up.
Should Haller leave in the coming days, he would do so with 14 goals from his 53 outings for West Ham, prompting one fan to say that he had “all the talent” in his time at the club, even if it wasn’t always on display.
