Reliable West Ham United insider ExWHUemployee dropped a hint at the potential renewed interest in Sheffield United midfielder John Lundstram in January.
The Hammers were amongst the clubs linked with a move for Lundstram in the summer although nothing materialised.
However, Sky Sports reported yesterday that contract talks had broken down between the player and the Bramall Lane club.
With the 26-year-old’s contract expiring next summer, it is believed the former Everton man, who was given his first pro contract by David Moyes, would be allowed to leave in January.
ExWHUemployee responded to the news and Irons fans reacted in their droves…

It’s likely should Moyes wish to attempt to reunite with Lundstram at the London Stadium he would face plenty of competition for the signature with Rangers, Burnley, and Crystal Palace all credited with interest previously.
READ WEST HAM VERDICT
Lundstram was a crucial part of Chris Wilder’s sides remarkable Premier League season last term as the Blades finished 9th after being promoted from the Championship.
With five goals and three assists last term, Lundstram showed his worth in an attacking sense. A consistent performer, Wilder has also included the midfielder in every top-flight game this season.
Whether Lundstram would start as part of the midfield duo in the current tactics being deployed is questionable.
However, with only Mark Noble in line as a senior backup, there’s no doubt Moyes needs additional central midfield options, and Lundstram would provide an alternative type of player to the others.
