West Ham are interested in bringing in Brighton centre-back Shane Duffy this upcoming transfer window, according to the Irish Independent.
Duffy has been linked with a move away from the Amex Stadium and West Ham are said to be interested in bringing in the Republic of Ireland international.
David Moyes knows the centre-half well as they spent time together back when Moyes was in charge at Everton, when Duffy was just a youngster, in fact, it was Moyes who handed him his debut at 17-year-old.
The 28-year-old only started 12 league games under Graham Potter this season and it looks as though Duffy’s time as a first-choice defender at The Seagulls has come to an end.

Brighton haven’t officially put Duffy on the transfer list and he is contracted to the south-coast club until 2023, but it does seem likely that he will be eager for a move away.
With Brighton acquiring Joel Veltman last month and having the option of keeping Ben White around following his loan spell at Leeds, the centre-back position at Brighton is stacked with competition.
The Ireland international has proven himself at the top level during his time at the Seagulls and should be more than capable of doing a job at West Ham.
A new, experienced, centre-back wouldn’t go amiss at the London Stadium and Duffy could be key to strengthening up the Hammers’ back-line.
Moyes’ previous relationship with Duffy may prove integral if The Hammers do decide put an offer in.
