West Ham Loan Watch: Mason Terry wins player of the season award
  • Mason Terry won a player of the season award at Braintree Town
  • James Ward-Prowse featured for Burnley
  • Josh Landers helped Boreham Wood to a playoff place

West Ham United would draw with Crystal Palace on Monday night, taking another step forward in their Premier League survival fight. Whilst Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are focused on finishing strong this season, a number of Hammers are put on-loan.

Here’s how the West Ham loanee’s got on this weekend.

English leagues

Mason Terry picked up the Supporters Player of the Year at Braintree Town for his performances this season. Terry would not feature this weekend but has been the National League’s starting goalkeeper all season, making 12 clean sheets.

Ryan Battrum, also on-loan with Braintree Town played the full 90 minutes as the side lost out narrowly to promotion chasing Rochdale.

Elsewhere in the same division, Josh Landers made a substitute appearance for Boreham Wood. Luke Garrard’s side would win 3-0, securing their place in the playoffs.

In the Premier League, James Ward-Prowse played the full 90 for Burnley as they lost 4-1 to Nottingham Forest. The Clarets will be relegated on Wednesday night if they lose to title chasing Manchester City at Turf Moor.

In the Championship, George Earthy was an unused substitute as Bristol City suffered their first loss under Roy Hodgson. The Robins came unstuck against Norwich City, losing 4-2 at Ashton Gate.

In League One, Kaelan Casey came off the bench in Leyton Orient’s 2-0 loss to already relegated Rotherham United.

European leagues

In Germany, Callum Marshall started for VFL Bochum as they lost 2-0 to Dynamo Dresden. The result keeps the side in relegation trouble, with just five points separating eight teams.

Niclas Fullkrug did not get off the bench for AC Milan in their 1-0 win over Hellas Verona, whilst Krisztian Hegyi helped MTK Budapest secure survival.
