West Ham currently lead the race to sign Queens Park Rangers attacking midfielder Eberechi Eze, as per David Ornstein of The Athletic.
The England U-21 international has caught the eye of multiple Premier League clubs, including Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace.
David Moyes attended QPR’s 4-3 victory over Millwall at the weekend, where Eze played the full game and chipped in with a goal in the 62nd minute.
The 22-year-old has hit 13 goals and has provided eight assists in the Championship this season, impressing in a QPR side that has performed pretty averagely this term.
QPR was hoping to get around £20 million for their man, but that fee seems unlikely and The Hammers will be confident of capturing his signature at a lower cost.

Eze is a versatile player, capable of playing anywhere across the forward line and even in the number eight position.
His stats from the Championship this season are impressive, with 21 goal involvements in 45 games – attacking stats that West Ham could do with somebody providing in their current squad.
Jarrod Bowen has looked good since his move from Hull City, a move that proved to be a substantial loss for The Tigers, who are destined for League One next season.
Eze could look to emulate Bowen’s form since his transition and at only 22, has plenty to offer in the coming seasons.
