West Ham fans react to footage of player’s son in action

West Ham United fans have reacted to footage of goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski training in his back garden.

With football at a current standstill due to the virus which has grounded countries across the globe to a halt, plenty of footballers have taken to social media to take on several challenges and training regimes.

Fabianski is the latest Hammers player to share footage of himself training in between the sticks with his son.

The 34-year-old Polish keeper moved to West Ham in the summer of 2018 from Swansea City, and he has become the number one choice at the club, making 55 appearances over two seasons.

Winning the club’s Hammer of the Year award last season, the former Arsenal shot-stopper is expected to remain David Moyes’ number one on to next season.

Hammers boss Moyes will be hoping the Polish international can continue his form when football returns after the recent postponement, given that West Ham are in a unsafe position in the Premier League.

Sitting 16th, West Ham sit just two points ahead of 19th place Aston Villa, meaning the threat of relegation to the Championship is very much a possibility.

Reacting to the footage of Fabianski, fans of the club gave their opinion on his saves and his son’s performance.
