West Ham United fans have reacted to a report by TeamTalk which claimed that Issa Diop has told the club he wants to leave this summer.
The 23-year-old defender moved to the Hammers in the summer of 2018 from Ligue 1 side Toulouse, and he has impressed, becoming a regular starter at the London stadium.
Despite his good form and obvious importance at West Ham, Sky Sports reported last week that Hammers boss David Moyes was tempted to cash in this coming summer.
Such reports have caused a number of Premier League sides to show interest with TeamTalk claiming Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur side are keen to make a move.
Mourinho is apparently keen to put his own stamp on Spurs after taking over earlier this season from Mauricio Pochettino, and Diop would seemingly be a good option to improve his defensive options.
Despite claims that Moyes is unconvinced by the defender, losing such a player could have consequences on West Ham.
The Hammers have had a mixed season and sit just above the relegation zone in 16th place.
Following the report of Diop’s supposed desire to leave the club, fans took to social media to share their opinions and below are just some of those…
