Football fans have reacted to footage showing West Ham’s Jack Wilshere playing football in a park with his partner.
Wilshere arrived on a three-year contract in 2018, but he has struggled to gain sufficient playing time with the Hammers, suffering a number of injuries during his time at the club.
Leaving behind a 10-year spell with Arsenal, where he finished with two loan spells at Bolton Wanderers and Bournemouth, Wilshere has made just 10 league appearances over the course of two seasons at West Ham.
The 28-year-old midfielder will see his current deal expire next summer, and it remains doubtful that he will feature again this season for David Moyes’ side, having made just two appearances so far.
Sitting 16th in the Premier League table at present, West Ham will be looking to find some form when football returns after the current break.
Moyes, who took over from Manuel Pellegrini halfway through the season, is yet to select Wilshere in his matchday squad.
Reacting to Wilshere’s footage, fans opted to predict another injury for the former England midfielder.
