West Ham United left-back Aaron Cresswell isn’t the most popular player amongst the club’s supporters at the moment.
The 30-year-old has been the subject of heavy criticism from fans for his recent displays for the club.
The Englishman has found the back of the net three times in the Premier League this season but has failed to register an assist.
Additionally, Cresswell has the joint second-worst cross completion rate in the top flight this season, level with Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold.
The left-back has only completed 13.9% of his deliveries this season, which we feel simply is not good enough.
Despite playing every single Premier League minute since David Moyes took over at the end of 2019 (Transfermarkt), we feel that there may be a few better options available for the Hammers at left-back this summer.
Below, we’ve listed a few left-backs who we feel the Hammers should look at to replace the ageing Cresswell.
