On Monday, West Ham United’s reserve team star Xande Silva turned 23 and plenty of Hammers fans have sent him some messages.
The attacker signed for West Ham’s academy in August 2018 and has since won over many fans with some brilliant displays for the Under-23 side.
He netted a spectacular hat-trick on his debut for the club in a Premier League 2 clash with London rivals Tottenham Hotspur but has spent a lot of time on the sidelines.
As reported on the official club website, the striker had an emergency operation on his stomach last summer and has only recently returned to full fitness after a long period of recovery and rehabilitation.
With Albian Ajeti struggling to make an impact in the senior squad, we feel it could be Silva’s chance to stake a claim for a regular first-team spot.
Many Hammers fans on Twitter have made it clear that they want to see the forward introduced into the first-team by David Moyes soon.
