Aaron Creswell’s crossing statistics have emerged recently and many West Ham United fans have jumped to defend their full-back.
The Englishman has played every single Premier League minute since David Moyes took over at the end of 2019 (Transfermarkt) and has been trying to do his bit in the team’s attacking moves.
As reported on Squawka, the 30-year-old has the joint second-worst cross success rate in 2019/20 in the Premier League.
The left-back has only completed 13.9% of his deliveries but that percentage is the same as Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold, who is rated as one of the world’s best full-backs.
Many West Ham fans believe that there are a few reasons why Cresswell has such a low success rate from crosses, with some fans feeling that it is the lack of presence in the opposition penalty area that is contributing to his low numbers.
These fans took to Twitter to defend their player.
