Many West Ham fans have praised goalkeeper David Martin after tunnel footage of the victory over Southampton last Saturday was released.
David Moyes’ side defeated the Saints 3-1 at the London Stadium in the Premier League, with goals from Jarrod Bowen, Sebastien Haller and Michail Antonio taking them out of the relegation zone on goal difference.
The club released a behind-the-scenes video of the victory, which featured Martin congratulating all the players one by one as they walked back to the dressing room.
The 34-year-old had a run in the starting XI earlier this season, playing four league matches in succession between November and December (Transfermarkt)
He then made another appearance in January, replacing Lukasz Fabianski in the first half of the defeat to Sheffield United after the Polish international picked up an injury.
Many fans have responded to the clip on Twitter, with a lot of them praising the Englishman for his actions.
