Some West Ham fans have called on David Moyes to keep quiet after the Hammers boss praised his side after their defeat to Manchester City.
Moyes praised his squad’s efforts during the defeat to the reigning champions, despite his side not registering a single shot on target.
The Hammers only racked up 23% possession during the clash as well, rounding off a disappointing night for everyone involved with West Ham.
Speaking after the game, Moyes told BBC Sport:
Probably not as close as we’d like but I felt the players did a great job in trying to be organised and disciplined. We did it well for long periods but they move the ball so well.
The Scot’s side are in a difficult spot at the moment, with West Ham sitting in the bottom three and with a hectic fixture list ahead, one that sees them travel to the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs before the end of the season.
Several West Ham fans took to Twitter to vent their frustrations with Moyes, and called for the Hammers boss to keep quiet going forward after his post-match comments after the defeat.
