West Ham United are preparing a late loan offer for Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud, according to a report on Football Insider.
The Hammers have reportedly been interested in the Frenchman since last November.
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has left the door open for Giroud to leave Stamford Bridge in this transfer window and as stated in the report, the Blues are willing to negotiate a loan deal.
West Ham are now preparing a ‘multi-million-pound’ loan offer for the 33-year-old attacker, who recently turned down a second approach from Newcastle United.

Giroud has plenty of experience in the top flight and has managed to score 78 times in the competition.
As reported on Sky Sports last year, the striker admitted that he has become frustrated with his lack of playing time at Chelsea.
The striker has only played 282 minutes of senior football in all competitions this season so we believe that the Hammers could lure him to the London Stadium with the promise of more first team action.
Sebastien Haller has only scored six league goals this term and manager David Moyes has called for more goals, so we feel Giroud would be a great addition because of his record of doing just that in the top flight.
