Both West Ham and Tottenham appear to be keen on landing a striker before Friday’s transfer deadline.
The Hammers reportedly made a late bid to try and pip Spurs to AC Milan’s Krzysztof Piatek, however, he now looks set to join Hertha Berlin.
Another forward Tottenham have been interested in is Real Sociedad’s Willian Jose.
And now, according to Spanish outlet AS, cited by Inside Futbol, West Ham are also keen on the Brazilian.
The report claims that the La Liga side want a permanent deal for the 28-year-old, with his valuation around €30 million.
David Moyes’ side are looking to sign Jose on loan with an option to buy, so a late deal doesn’t seem likely at this stage.
The report adds that the player’s agent is expecting Tottenham to come back with another offer after having an opening bid turned down earlier in the month.
However, when West Ham’s interest in Jose reached these Spurs supporters on social media, it didn’t take long for them to react.
