West Ham have reportedly made a move for AC Milan striker Krzysztof Piatek.

And the news has been quick to reach several supporters on social media.

According to Football Insider, the Hammers are looking to pip London rivals Chelsea and Tottenham to a late January deal for the 24-year-old.

They claim that West Ham are looking to sign Piatek on loan, with a deal then turning permanent in the summer for a fee in the region of £30 million.

However, the report adds that both Chelsea and Spurs are currently edging West Ham in the race for the striker, who has scored 26 Serie A goals over the last 18 months for both Milan and Genoa.

Goal claim that Piatek wants to move to London with Tottenham before the end of the month, so West Ham appear to face an uphill task to sign the Poland international.

And when Football Insider‘s report made its way across social media on Tuesday evening, these Hammers supporters were quick to react.
