Hammers fans left happy after Gillingham win

Having their last years 4-0 loss against AFC Wimbledon on the back of their minds, West Ham United have gone all out to avoid another embarrassing FA Cup exit, this time against Gillingham.

Pablo Zabaleta and Pablo Fornals scored the goals as the Hammers enjoyed a very good defensive display in what was a professional performance to dispatch the League One side while keeping a clean sheet.

And these West Ham fans enjoyed the mentality, as well as the performance.

After struggling in the first half it looked like David Moyes managed to pump a new life into his team as they’ve come from the half-time break firing from the start and put int a great all-round performance.

The change of formation also looked like a good change as a back-three of Angelo Ogbonna, Issa Diop and Fabian Balbuena proved too hard to break down for Gillingham’s attackers.

Two games in charge now for Moyes, both won with two consecutive clean-sheets despite facing tough opposition.
