West Ham United and Arsenal could be set to miss out on transfer target Stanislav Lobotka, who seems destined for a January move to Napoli.
The Celta Vigo midfielder has made 22 appearances for Slovakia and 88 appearances in La Liga since joining back in 2017.
According to Calciomercato, Napoli have agreed terms with Lobotka ahead of a potential £15million deal, despite Celta Vigo initially holding out for £21million.
The report claims he’s expected to meet with the Italian giants this week to close the deal, which will come as a blow to the interested Premier League pair.

Ultimately, West Ham need to sign at least one midfielder in January and missing out on Lobotka isn’t the end of the world.
You could spend hours naming the possible targets the Hammers can go for so, as the saying goes, there’s plenty more fish in the sea.
It’s an area David Moyes must address as quickly as possible though, as well the other areas of concern in the struggling squad he’s inherited from Manuel Pellegrini.
January will be a month to remember, that’s for sure, but whether it’s for the right or wrong reasons remains to be seen.
