As we’re closing to the end of the year, it’s time to look at West Ham United’s most memorable moments since the start of 2009-10 season.
From the takeover by David Gold and David Sullivan in 2010, through the promotion back to the Premier League and the stadium move until the current reign of Manuel Pellegrini, the Hammers fans had a lot of things to cheer about.
But these arguably happy moments were also split by the less cheerful ones, such as a drop into the Championship, European crash-outs, constant long-term injuries, on-the-pitch humiliations or departures of key players.
And with the decade ultimately drawing to a close, we’ve decided to take a look at West Ham’s best XI of the previous ten years while also including some honourable mentions.
This squad only shows how far has the club has gone under Gold and Sullivan despite the protests that happened and the overall unhappiness over the board’s decisions.
