West Ham are interested in a deal to sign AC Milan midfielder Frank Kessie in the January transfer window.
According to Tutto Mercato, via Sport Witness, Milan are prepared to let Kessie leave in the next window, but only if clubs meet their €30m valuation of the Ivorian.
The report claims that Kessie is currently out of favour at Milan and that Wolves and West Ham are both considering moves for him.
READ WEST HAM VERDICT

West Ham have struggled to find a balance in midfield this season, so it does not come as a shock to see them being linked with a central midfielder. Could Kessie be the man to solve their issues in the middle? Possibly. He is strong enough off the ball to win possession back, but also has the quality to drive forward and pick out a pass – allowing the likes of Declan Rice and Mark Noble to – perhaps – sit deeper and offer more defensive solidity on the break.
Would West Ham be willing to pay €30m for a player who cannot get a game for Milan at the moment? That remains to be seen, but it will be interesting to see who West Ham do go for the in the next window to bolster their squad.
