Combined XI: Crystal Palace

This week’s segment of the combined eleven continues with a selection of players from West Ham’s opponents this Saturday, Crystal Palace.

The Eagles have had limited success against the Hammers in recent times, however, Saturday could see that change.

Palace and West Ham have had reasonably similar starts this season, and if it wasn’t for the last second equaliser against Wolves, they would sit comfortably near the top.

Credit must go to Roy Hodgson, who has taken what seems a poor squad on paper to impressive heights. Furthering this, he has managed to build a solid back-line and a team that impresses on the road, something West Ham need to be careful about on Saturday.

Pair this with Wilfried Zaha, another player who just can’t help but score against West Ham, and Saturday will make for an exciting matchup.
