West Ham are in talks with former Manchester United academy star Mipo Odubeko, according to 90min.
Odubeko left Manchester United at the end of last season following his contract expiration, despite the Red Devils best efforts to try and keep him at the club.
The Republic of Ireland U17 international scored 35 goal for the Manchester club’s academy side last year, and that hasn’t gone unnoticed.

Many top European clubs have been linked with the 16 year old, with Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and Juventus all reportedly interested in Odubeko. But West Ham are now reportedly in talks to sign the striker.
While Odubeko has technically left United, they will demand compensation fees if the Hammers were to secure a deal.
The report states that the 16 year old will have the chance to impress in the U23’s team at West Ham before he is promoted to the senior squad.

If West Ham were to sign Odubeko, they would have very promising player, but he may not be easy to get, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer rating the Irishman highly.
For Odubeko, a move to the Hammers would be desirable. He would have a much better chance of breaking through into the senior squad of West Ham compared to at United, and would probably get more game time if he was to at the London Stadium.
