West Ham United, in general, didn’t have a good night in Oxford on Wednesday, capitulating to a 4-0 defeat and crashing out of the Carabao Cup.
While there were a few names in general feeling the brunt of the verbal attack from supporters, one, in particular, has been slammed since.
It was summer signing Roberto’s second competitive start for the Hammers, but a video compilation of all four of Oxford’s goals shows he didn’t exactly pour too much glory on himself and these fans know it…

David Martin can’t be no worse surely? (@MR_B0N3Z)

Literally if it’s not at him he’s already given up on it, god help us if Fabianski ever got injured! (@rickwhufc)

It’s a very strange one, this.
Roberto just didn’t seem to be… trying that hard? That’s a baffling thing to say when watching a professional goalkeeper but the Spaniard just looked like he gave up after the first went in.
It certainly hasn’t done him any favours in terms of looking for minutes for the remainder of the season, that’s for sure.
Lukasz Fabianski is untouchable in his role as the first-choice goalkeeper at the moment, but supporters may be feeling the nerves if Roberto has to deputise anytime soon.
