West Ham United travel to the Vitality Stadium on Saturday afternoon to take on Eddie Howe’s AFC Bournemouth.
The Hammers will be looking to bounce back from their mid-week exit of the Carabao Cup to Oxford United.
West Ham, though, did have joy in their last Premier League fixture as they defeated Manchester United 2-0 at the London Stadium.
They have faced the Cherries eight times in the Premier League era, winning twice. Both of those wins came back in 2016.
The last fixture between the two sides ended in a 2-0 victory for Eddie Howe’s side with goals from Callum Wilson and Josh King giving the Cherries the three points down on the south coast.
If West Ham can turn there fortunes around against the Cherries and other results go their way, they could find themselves in second behind leaders Liverpool.
