Plenty of West Ham United fans are rightfully furious after Wednesday’s 4-0 defeat to Oxford United as the Kassam Stadium.
There’s one player who’s on the end of the most criticism though, and that’s Fabian Balbuena.

Twitter: Balbuena back into defence and this happens … (@IRONSSSS)
Carlos Sanchez, Arthur Masuaku and Pablo Zabaleta also felt the brunt of the abuse…

Bearing in mind the behemoth Balbuena was at the back alongside Diop last season, it’s an incredible shame to witness such a great decline.
He looked like a rabbit in headlights on Wednesday night and failed to take his chance to prove why he should be starting over Ogbonna.
With the current first-choice centre-back pairing looking so solid, it’s hard to see when Balbuena will feature before the busy winter period.
