Plenty of West Ham United fans are keen for Pablo Fornals to keep his place in the team against Oxford United on Wednesday night, despite recent criticism.
The Hammers travel to Oxford in the Carabao Cup Third Round looking to continue their impressive six-match unbeaten run.
A 2-0 victory against Newport County in the round prior kicked off West Ham’s cup campaign, with Fornals netting one of the goals at Rodney Parade.
And after starring in the weekend’s comfortable triumph over Manchester United, supporters are wanting to see more of the young Spaniard.

Aged 23, Fornals needs game time to develop into the talent he’s promising to be and outings like this are also perfect for the likes of Albian Ajeti who is also attempting to adapt to English football.
After such a good run of form in the Premier League, West Ham will be desperate to make it a strong cup campaign and he’ll be one of many eager to make as big an impact as he can.
It seems a favourable test for Manuel Pellegrini’s side, but they’ll have to be switched on just like at Newport if they are to get a good result from it.
