With the release of FIFA 20 just around the corner, information about the clubs involved in the popular game is starting to come out and one aspect, in particular, has been a very hot topic of discussion this week.
That is, of course, player ratings and there has been a largely negative response to West Ham United’s Ultimate Team cards, with the number of non-rares a major cause for concern:

And it’s fair to say, these West Ham fans aren’t most pleased…
Twitter: @westham_gossip @WhuEthan Diop is a man mountain, that’s so disrespectful. Not even 80 physical (@Moldinho88)
Twitter: @TheWestHamVault EA downgrade Balbuena, but then upgrade Mustafi, they’ve got no clue (@j_shomos)
Twitter: @westham_gossip Rice and Diop been done dirty there. (@MattyH14)

It’s been amusing to see supporters of all clubs blow up over their players’ ratings on a video game, but it is pretty serious business for keen gamers.
The ratio of non-rare to rare players is rather annoying if you’ll be wanting to use West Ham stars on Ultimate Team, and you’d think the likes of Diop and Rice’s performances last season warrant greater ratings.
Excitement is certainly building for the release of FIFA 20 though, with just under two weeks to go.
