Javier Hernandez has today left West Ham United to join Sevilla, but the way David Gold has gone about announcing the transfer has raised plenty of questions.
The 31-year-old striker has departed following 17 goals in 63 games for West Ham in what should been seen as a good bit of business, with just 10 months left on his contract.
Co-owner Gold took to social media to confirm Hernandez’s departure though, and it’s fair to say the way he’s done so has confused many supporters…
Twitter: @davidgold You really never cease to amaze me Dave (@_CarltonCole9)
Twitter: @davidgold Excellent choice of photo david. (@FinleyCollett)
Twitter: @davidgold What a picture to use

Twitter: @_CarltonCole9 @davidgold it’s certain it’s not him behind the account anymore, but funny anyway (@slavsl)

Gold has been notorious for giving Hammers fans a reason to laugh on social media, so his latest actions come as no surprise.
You’d imagine the picture used to thank Hernandez for his services was the first he could find in his camera roll, otherwise, it’d be even more questionable.
He’s certainly in fans’ good books after the signings he welcomed to the club this summer though, so why not see the funny side to it!
