West Ham registered their third successive win of the season by beating Norwich City 2-0 thanks to goals from Sebastien Haller and Andriy Yarmolenko.
The Hammers were in control of the game right from the beginning which left the Norwich players baffled. Midway into the first half, Haller opened the scoring for Manuel Pellegrini’s men.
Then, just 11 minutes into the second half, Yarmolenko netted only his third goal for West Ham and his first since last September. The win was West Ham’s third on the trot and like their wins against Watford and Newport County, the Hammers won by a 2-goal margin.
It was the perfect way for the club to end this week. The Hammers are now 5th in the league table. They resume their Premier League campaign against Aston Villa at Villa Park on the 16th.
Now, we will take a look at four findings from the match in London…
