West Ham continue their Premier League campaign through returning to the London Stadium to play host to Norwich City this weekend.
Norwich have impressed in the first three games since their return to the Premier League, despite losing two of their three games (albeit against Chelsea and Liverpool).
Saturday provides an excellent test for both teams, especially as a game to set the tone for the season.
West Ham, meanwhile, come into the game off two crucial wins, a 3-1 win away at Watford and a sturdy 2-0 win at Newport following Pellegrini’s massive 10 changes in cup rotation.
West Ham should be looking for a solid home performance, and need to put to bed the nightmare performance against Manchester City and re-find their excellent home form that they had last season.
However, Norwich will be by no means a turn-over, and West Ham should be wary of the ever-present threat of Teemu Pukki as well as players such as Todd Cantwell and Emiliano Buendia.
Whatever happens, Saturday should be a good game of football. Here is the starting XI I believe Manuel Pellegrini will select for the match.
