Many West Ham United supporters have used one of the club’s most recent posts on social media to brutally rip into Angelo Ogbonna, despite his role in Saturday’s 3-1 win against Watford.
Ogbonna started his second consecutive match at Vicarage Road as the Hammers claimed their first three points of the season, but he’s yet to win over some fans who believe Fabian Balbuena should be playing instead.
Twitter: @WestHam Ogbonna? Nah he was average. (@desouza1994)
Twitter: @WestHam Should have given Ogbonna to Arsenal, he’d go well with David Luiz. (@SKirky7)
Twitter: @WestHam Ogbonna had his discreet meeting after many disastrous matches. Certainly it was not as decisive as Haller and Noble. (@HammerMogn1)

The 31-year-old is thought to be above Balbuena in Manuel Pellegrini’s pecking order due to the fact he wants a left and right-footed centre-back in his defence.
His performance improved at Watford though and he’s likely to start again against Norwich City at the weekend, so he’ll continue to have the chance to prove to fans he’s still of the quality required to progress.
It’s strange to see some supporters still finding a way to be negative following such a big win, but you can’t please everyone…
