Javier Hernandez is being pursued by three MLS clubs ahead of the January transfer window, where the former Manchester United striker likely be available on a cut-price deal.
According to Football Insider, West Ham United are bracing themselves for strong interest from the MLS, with his current contract set to expire next summer.
The Hammers are said to be unlikely to offer him an extension due to his £140,000-a-week salary and could be looking to offload him for what they can get in January.

READ WEST HAM’S VERDICT
Hernandez is Mexico’s all-time top goalscorer and was only given the no. 9 shirt at West Ham this summer, but his wages are admittedly high for a player serving as back-up to new signing Sebastien Haller.
He joined the Hammers for £16million in 2017, but one of the clubs from this unnamed MLS trio could sign the 31-year-old for no more than £4million. Should the Hammers let him go? I think so.
Don’t get me wrong, Chicharito has been a great servant to every club he’s represented; a loyal player, fine poacher and lethal goalscorer.
However, he’s costing West Ham over £7million-per-year on wages alone and if the club are planning on a big 2020 summer transfer window, removing him from the wage bill can only be seen as a positive.
The Hammers must strengthen the defensive areas of the team if they are to reach the level they are wanting to get to and should be covered going forward even if Hernandez departs.
