West Ham United have released footage of Manuel Pellegrini’s squad training at the London Stadium ahead of this weekend’s trip to Watford, and fans are heavily criticising one player in particular.
Roberto arrived at the club from Espanyol on a free transfer during the summer, as recommended by Pellegrini’s goalkeeper coach Xavi Valero, and is acting as Lukasz Fabianski’s understudy.
Plenty of supporters quickly picked up on his attempts to save a ball though, in which he seemed to fail to do once in the two-minute clip:

As funny as it is, you’d think supporters would know better than to widely criticise the new signing from just two-minutes of training footage. It’s unlikely to do wonders for his confidence.
Fabianski is crucial to the team regardless, so hopefully, he’ll be ever-present in the league this season as well as the cups over the 33-year-old back-up.
If we’re being honest, some of the strikes Roberto faced in the training session were mightily impressive, which bodes well for West Ham’s attacking aspirations.
