Manuel Pellegrini has left West Ham United fans in the dark over the availability of key attacker Felipe Anderson, failing to even mention him in his press conference ahead of the trip to Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday.
Anderson was forced off just past the hour mark in West Ham’s opening day defeat to Manchester City but posted a picture on social media earlier in the week to suggest he’s back training with the squad.
Ahead of this weekend’s game at the AMEX, Pellegrini confirmed Jack Wilshere is ready to go in midfield, but the question on these fans’ lips was clear:
Twitter: @Sam_InkersoleTM Hey Sam, any info on whether Felipe Anderson is okay? Do you think Mas comes in at LB too? (@LookThePartFC)

Some fans have been getting on Anderson’s back a bit in the fallout of that thumping loss on Saturday for going missing, but let’s be honest, he wasn’t the only one that struggled.
The Brazilian remains one of Pellegrini’s most dangerous assets and it’ll be a big blow if he’s missing for what now seems like such an important fixture.
It’s a shame not one journalist asked about his availability because he is firmly the name on quite a lot of Hammers fans’, and fantasy football managers’, minds.
