West Ham midfielder Marcus Browne is on the verge of signing for Middlesbrough, having been told by the club that he is free to leave.
The 21-year old is due for a medical with Boro, with the Championship side having reportedly beaten out a number of other clubs who were interested in Browne’s signature.
Football Insider claim that it is only a matter of time before Browne commits to his future at the Riverside, bringing his 13-year association with the Hammers to an end.

Browne was once a highly regarded prospect at the London Stadium, making his debut for the club in a Europa League qualifier against Astra Giurgiu during the 2016/17 season.
Browne never made a Premier League appearance for West Ham, playing the vast majority of his senior football with Oxford United last season, having spent the full season at the Kassam Stadium.
