West Ham United have reportedly stepped up their interest in signing Yann M’Vila from Saint-Etienne.
According to claims from L’Equipe, the Hammers are among a clutch of clubs who are keen to sign the midfielder.
Manuel Pellegrini’s side were linked with a move to sign the former Sunderland star towards the end of last season, and with just over two weeks of the transfer window remaining, it seems they could push to sign the player.
M’Vila is, as per L’Equipe, a top target for Fenerbahce, who have tabled a four-year contract offer already.

However, West Ham are ‘especially’ courting the experienced midfielder, with a departure from Saint-Etienne looking likely for the 29-year-old in this summer transfer window.
The Hammers have been active in the market and have already added David Martin, Roberto, Pablo Fornals and Sebastien Haller to their ranks ahead of next season.
It seems they are not yet finished with their dealings, though, and M’Vila has emerged as an option as West Ham aim to strengthen their options.
Crystal Palace, too, are understood by L’Equipe to be in the race for the ex-Rubin Kazan player’s signature.
