Striker Maxi Gomez could be set to decide on his future this week with both West Ham and Valencia vying for his signature.
The pair have both been heavily linked with a move for the striker, though the Spanish side are said to have the upper hand due to Gomez’s desire to play in the Champions League next season.
West Ham have attempted to lure the Celta Vigo man away from Spain with a higher offer, however, and Gomez could make a decision on his future this week, the Telegraph reports.

The Hammers are said to be willing to pay Celta a club record fee of £44.5million for Gomez, and have reportedly offered the Uruguay international the chance to become the highest earned at the club in an attempt to prize him away from Valencia.
Manuel Pellegrini will be keen to sign a striker in the near future following the respective departures of Marko Arnautovic and Lucas Perez.
