West Ham are reportedly ready to offer Sam Byram as part of any deal to sign Salomon Rondon from West Brom.
Football League World reports that that the Hammers are keen to step up their interest and hope that by including the defender in a deal that they will be able to convince the Championship side into selling for less than the striker’s release clause.
Previous reports from Football Insider claimed that a £14 million offer was being readied, but had no mention of a player being included.

It has now emerged that Byram would be offered to West Brom on a permanent basis, as part of that aforementioned bid.
West Brom have already rejected the opportunity to take Jordan Hugill on loan as part of a deal for Rondon, but the possibility of a permanent deal could change their mind.
It was Bilic who signed Byram during his time at West Ham and knowing he’d get a player in return could help sweeten the deal.
