West Ham have been linked with multiple strikers already this summer and Borja Iglesias is one of many.
The club have already signed Roberto from Espanyol at the start of the window and his ex-teammate Iglesias has wished him well, while also addressing the rumours surrounding a potential move that could see him join the Hammers as well.
Despite the rumours linking Iglesias with a move, he says he is not aware of any potential transfer to West Ham.
Manuel Pellegrini is in need of a replacement for Andy Carroll who has left the club this summer and Iglesias could be that perfect fit, however, he has not heard anything about a move himself.
Following questions about his ‘special uncle’, Iglesias told the Spanish media, as reported by HITC, that he is unlikely to follow his good friend to London this summer.
In principle nothing. Nothing like that.
Having only joined Espanyol last year, it is unlikely that Iglesias will make the move.
However, because of his extremely successful season which saw him score 17 goals and register three assists, there has reportedly been a lot of Premier League interest in the 26-year-old.
